Allison and Brent’s Sedona elopement at Bell Rock was exactly what you’d expect from two people who fell in love with the Arizona desert—simple, intimate, and absolutely stunning. They flew in from North Dakota to exchange vows surrounded by the red rock beauty that Sedona is famous for, and as their Arizona wedding photographer, I was lucky to capture every quiet moment.
Sedona is known for its peaceful magic, and this elopement was no exception. With just the two of them, their officiant, and me as their Sedona elopement photographer, there was a calm, easy joy to the day. The light was perfect, the desert air was warm, and there was no rush—just a couple, their promises, and the quiet desert landscape.
One of my favorite parts of the day? When Brent realized they needed a second witness for their marriage license. He ran up the Bell Rock trail, stopping hikers to see if they’d help out. In the end, I signed as a witness too—because that’s what happens at these small, beautiful weddings. You show up for each other, in every way you can.

Allison and Brent’s Bell Rock elopement was a perfect example of why couples choose to elope in Sedona. It wasn’t about grand entrances or elaborate details.
