Aram & Summer

About The Wedding

A day that felt as easy and natural as the Arizona breeze, wrapped in laughter, sweet glances, and the warm, elegant glow of Wrigley Mansion.

There’s a certain feeling you get when you walk into a wedding like Aram and Summer’s at Wrigley Mansion. Maybe it’s the soft light that finds every corner of that old house, or the way the desert skyline seems to hold the day in a warm, gentle hush. Their wedding wasn’t loud or showy—it was honest and full of little moments that somehow said everything. From the quiet first touch before the ceremony to the laughter that carried through the grand halls, there was a warmth in the air that felt like the start of something real.

Aram and Summer have this easy way about them—like two people who have known each other in a hundred different ways over the years, and still find new things to love. They’ve been through long stretches apart, time zones and life changes, but the way they looked at each other that day at Wrigley Mansion felt steady and sure. No grand performances, no need to prove anything—just a couple that’s found their place together and wanted to share that with everyone they care about. There’s something about weddings in Arizona that makes them feel both grand and intimate at the same time, and this one was no different.

Wrigley Mansion itself has this old-world charm that can’t really be replicated anywhere else. The clean lines and soft glow of the Arizona sun gave the day a quiet kind of elegance—like something out of a film, but still full of real laughter and little moments that only they’ll remember. As a Phoenix wedding photographer, I’ve seen a lot of incredible backdrops, but there’s something special about the way that house seems to slow everything down. For Aram and Summer, it was the perfect canvas: classic, a little bit romantic, and still completely laid-back.

The Wedding Day

Their day was the kind that sneaks up on you—a slow morning, a few deep breaths, and then, all at once, the feeling that it’s all happening. The basilica’s quiet beauty set the tone for their vows, but it was the look on Aram’s face when he finally held Summer’s hand that stuck with me. There’s something about those moments—when time slows down and it’s just two people choosing each other—that feels like the heart of every wedding I’ve ever photographed.

Later, at Wrigley Mansion, everything fell into place like it always does when the people and the place are exactly right. The laughter in the cocktail hour, the clinking of glasses in the bar, the gentle way the Arizona sunset turned the sky soft pink. From the first dances to the last quiet moments of the night, it felt like a celebration that didn’t need to shout to feel important. It was elegant but relaxed, full of movement and tiny stories and the kind of joy that doesn’t fade with the last song.

These are the kinds of days that stay with you. Not because they’re perfect in every detail, but because they’re real. Because even in a place as grand as Wrigley Mansion, what really matters is the way two people look at each other when everyone else is clapping and the music is playing and it’s just them, together, in that one perfect moment.
